The peace at Buckland Manor is the first thing you'll notice. The pretty honey-stone property sits in gorgeous grounds at the edge of picturesque Buckland village. It's a classic country house hotel, much loved by repeat visitors, with pleasing old-school decor - splendid wood panelling, handsome fireplaces, oil paintings and rugs on flagstone floors. Mullion windows and tall chimneys complete the look, and the spacious old building oozes charm.

The spectacular walks from the doorstep are the perfect way to work up an appetite for Buckland Manor's beautifully presented meals.

The hotel is a short walk from the village of Buckland and a five-minute drive from the larger village of Broadway, a popular Cotswolds destination.
By car: Buckland Manor is 2 hours 30 mins from London, 1 hour 15 mins from Oxford and 1 hour 20 mins from Bristol. There is free parking at the hotel.
By train: The hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from Moreton-in-Marsh station, with services running from London Paddington (via Oxford) taking 1 hour 30 minutes.
