WHAT WE LOVE...

Nestled in the heart of the bucolic village of Branscombe on the south Devon coast, Masons Arms is a dog and child-friendly 14th-centry thatched pub with rooms. In a prime position to soak up coast and countryside, the inn's expansion has sprawled into the village in the form of a handful of converted cottages with tiered-gardens, greeting you with characterful fittings including timber frames, low beamed ceilings and pine cladding, along with a large beer garden, cosy bar and a warming log fire, set amidst rows of pretty thatches - just 15-minutes' walk to Branscombe beach. It's a great base to explore the Jurassic Coast with a menu that focuses on local and seasonal produce, served alongside West Country ciders and locally brewed beers.
