Hotel Review
The Mayson, Dublin, Ireland
The Mayson is a sociable spot on Dublin's north quays, with a buzzing bar and restaurant, a rooftop steakhouse, large gym, relaxation pool, steam room and sauna - and even a barber. The hotel is divided between a modern six-floor glass and steel building built over a red brick warehouse, and a Georgian townhouse. Rooms in the modern part are cosy pod-style spaces and are well equipped with everything from a well-stocked minibar, Nespresso machine and snack tray to a Marshall speaker, smart TV and power shower. In the townhouse side, rooms have original Georgian features like fireplaces, high ceilings and sash windows. Suites in both buildings have extra luxuries like freestanding baths and turntables, and many rooms have super docklands views.
