WHAT WE LOVE...

A grand Victorian hotel sitting high above the beach at Ventnor in the sunny south of the Isle of Wight, this is the place to go for an old-fashioned seaside holiday. Take afternoon tea on the terrace, swim in the secluded outdoor pool, wander down the steep hill to the beach and work up an appetite for dinner on your way back. Enjoy excellent local cuisine in the refined dining room or more casually in the brasserie and listen to the pianist tinkling the ivories. If that all sounds too relaxing, then charter the Royal rib for the day for an exhilarating round-island tour.
