WHAT WE LOVE...

The elegant Neoclassical building that was once Milan's first railway station is now a four-star hotel, conveniently close to the Porta Nuova business district, which is less than a five-minute walk away. Rooms are light and minimal with crisp white sheets on undressed beds and utilitarian desks. Public rooms have more personality with a display of antique luggage and pot plants greeting you when you walk in and a back-lit display of colourful spritz and spirit bottles. An outdoor terrace, small fitness centre and small spa provide some relaxation for the many business guests, but the real pull is the restaurant that serves contemporary Italian food with excellent provenance. Expect raw seafood, pasta and creamy bowls of tiramisu.

The hotel is great business guests who want to take advantage of being so near Porta Nuova. We love the photo-real wallpaper of an antique railway carriage in the co-working area.

Food & Drink

The olive oil is freshly poured at your table and sprinkled with torn basil leaves to enjoy with the homemade bread. Try the prawn tartare, which is sweet and delicate.
