A bright contemporary hotel in a former glass-making factory on the picturesque island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon. The industrial style includes exposed brick and steelwork, and large floor-to-ceiling windows. Furnishings are bright with velvet upholstered sofas and chairs in primary colours and plenty of turquoise in the curtains, paintwork and cushions. Made up of three separate buildings, there are several internal courtyards that are peppered with tables and chairs to sit out at on a sunny day. A lagoon-view roof terrace is a fantastic spot for an aperitivo in summer, while a small spa and gym will keep you occupied in wet weather.

A private jetty means you could arrive by water taxi from Marco Polo airport or Santa Lucia train station, both 30 minutes away.

This hotel is on the island of Murano in the Venetian Lagoon, a 10-minute ferry trip from the main island of Venice.
By plane: direct flights to Venice from London take 2 hours. Take an airport boat (30 minutes) to reach the hotel, or a water taxi.

You'll love the sound of the lagoon lapping against the wall outside the windows of the lagoon-view rooms. Our favourite is Room 135, a mid-category premium room with a large terrace that captures the evening sun.
