WHAT WE LOVE...

Storrs Hall is a romantically-situated large Lakeland hotel, which in recent years has also been able to offer luxurious lakeside Suites within its grounds. It occupies an ideal position for anyone who wants to enjoy Lake Windermere, as its lawns and woods offer super views from the lake shores; boat trips can also be arranged from a private jetty. There is a wide range of accommodation and, as such, the hotel suits many people, from those seeking modern luxury and pampering in private suites, to those wanting to enjoy the traditions of the main hotel, where Wordsworth once recited 'Daffodils'. The restaurant can serve good food and the historic wooden bar is a charming spot for a nightcap.

THE DETAILS

We loved being able to admire the lake in peace from shingle bays that are on the lake shore within the grounds.
