This elegant and sophisticated hotel is housed in an elegant Art Nouveau palazzo in Riva del Garda, a tranquil resort hemmed in by rugged cliffs on the north-western shore of the lake. Dating back to 1899, Lido Palace has nothing of the stuffiness of many of the grand lake hotels. You'll find contemporary interiors tastefully blending modern touches with original features, abstract works of art adorning the walls, and furnishings in vivid hues creating a youthful vibe. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of light and make the most of the gorgeous lake views. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and there's an attractive spa where you can easily while away the days taking in the panoramic vistas.

We love the easy access to the centre of Riva; open the back gate and you're right on the lakefront promenade.

The hotel is situated on the lake's north-western shore; take a path from the gardens to the heart of town or embark on the many watersports activities close by.
By plane: from London, there are direct flights to Verona and Brescia, both take around 2 hours. The hotel is an hour's drive from Verona and a 1 hour 30 minute drive from Brescia. Free on-site parking.
