WHAT WE LOVE...

One of the oldest family-owned hotels in London, luxury boutique hotel Flemings Mayfair opened in 1851 and was originally converted from 13 Georgian townhouses. On a discreet side road off the main thrust of Piccadilly, the hotel is just moments from Green Park and a short walk from Buckingham Palace. The hotel features deluxe bedrooms, suites and apartments, with 1930s-inspired interior design. The newly launched restaurant, Ormer Mayfair by Sofian offers a range of indulgent tasting menus with paired wines, while Manetta's, a stylish bar, serves up sophisticated cocktails in a subdued setting. In an unusual twist on the traditional spa, renowned practitioner and facialist Pietro Simone has set up a skincare clinic in the hotel, which offers a range of scientific-sounding treatments.

Style & Character

Ideal for well-heeled urbanites with cashmere coats. We love the artist Kate Boxer's paintings of Agatha Christie, James Joyce, Gertrude Stein and her lover Alice B. Toklas that adorn the walls of Manetta's bar.

Service & Facilities

The concierge can arrange day trips to Highclere Castle (the setting for Downton Abbey) or walking tours of the local area. The skincare clinic is an unusual addition to the hotel and offers something different.
