The Rubens at the Palace: A two-night royal escape to London
When you step into The Rubens, you instantly know you've arrived somewhere special. From the doormen in their smart scarlet coats to the opulent furnishings in the lobby, this hotel lives up to its illustrious address opposite the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace.
You'll stay for two nights in a Classic Double room, one of the hotel's elegant and stylish guest rooms which each offer a unique style and design. For an ostentatious royal-themed room, you can enquire about an upgrade and find yourself in plush surroundings beneath crystal chandeliers themed in honour of British monarchs.
Your stay includes a three-course dinner and memorable evening in the English Grill, easing back in an armchair to dine beneath Murano glass while theatrical dishes are prepared in the open kitchen by a team of expert chefs - using the same suppliers that serve the royal households.
You'll also take afternoon tea in The Palace Lounge, included in your stay. The lounge is ideally situated to look out over the Royal Mews, where you may even spot a royal carriage or two. As you watch the world go by, indulge in scones, cakes, pastries, and mini sandwiches in the ultimate English tradition.
On both mornings, a Full English breakfast is served, setting you up perfectly for a day exploring London, whether you fancy a spot of shopping, trying the latest restaurant or theatre openings, or taking a stroll through Hyde Park and Green Park.
