WHAT WE LOVE...

Leven offers a base from which you can easily walk to all of Manchester's hot spots, and is nice enough you'll be delighted to return to it after a day and night exploring. Perfect for a couple or friends on a weekend getaway or a solo traveller wanting a solid launchpad from which to explore. The building itself is an early 20th-century red brick building sitting pretty on the corner of Chorlton and Canal Street in Manchester's colourful Village area. The walls give off an air of history reflecting this building's rich past from serving as a cotton warehouse, brewery, comedy club and now a handsome hotel. While there isn't a private car park, there are plenty of places to park nearby and you're a short walk from the station.

Food & Drink

The breakfast was fulsome with fresh pastries - the croissants were particularly nice and plump - cereals, alternative milks, breakfast bars and fruit. We loved the choice of cereal options, from retro coco pops to homemade healthy granola.
