Owned by none other than the King of Morocco himself, the Royal Mansour is a beautiful and lavish retreat in the heart of Marrakech. It took over 1000 craftsmen to build this icon of the city, and no detail has been overlooked from the opulent marble and sumptuous stucco work to the manicured walled gardens. Guests are treated to spectacular grandeur throughout the grounds and private riads which took three years to complete. The ethos behind the luxury retreat was to build a medina-within-a-medina - a glow of pink private riads, set in peaceful narrow walkways, surrounded by ornate water features and tropical gardens, emulating the old medina of the city. A wonderfully peaceful setting, Royal Mansour is designed to offer a truly luxurious escape - a romantic setting for couples, and those who wish to retreat.

The oriental Majorelle Gardens really wow, having been brought back to life by Yves Saint Laurent as a gift to the city he loved.

The hotel is a short walk from the Medina and 20 minutes' walk from the Jardin Majorelle.
By plane: flights to Marrakech from London and Manchester take around 4 hours 45 mins. The hotel is a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. Free private parking on-site.

Our spectacular one bedroom riad is the height of opulence, boasting two private courtyards and a roof terrace, complete with sundeck, plunge pool and pergola. We're completely in love with the private roof terrace - designed for balmy evenings, watching the sun set across the city, with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the distance.
