This hotel differs from most in Amsterdam in that it's rather out on a limb in the Western Docklands, an up-and coming area some way from the centre, and also that it only has apartments, with kitchenettes and lounge areas. Many guests stay for a month or two, typically when waiting to find permanent accommodation in the city. It's also ideal for those wanting the option of self-catering. It is snazzily designed throughout, from the large lobby/restaurant/bar area to the homely, contemporary apartments. Features such as a large rich blue eight-seat sofa, a swish workstation island seating around ten, and a big copper-clad fireplace in the public areas add to the upbeat ambience.

It's great to experience a completely different side to the familiar central canal belt sector at this hotel.

Situated in the western docklands, hire a bike and cycle into the city centre to see the sights - or explore the nearby parks.
By plane: direct flights from London and Manchester take around 1 hour 15 minutes. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Schiphol airport and a 10-minute drive from central station. Parking costs €25 per day.

Style & Character

Ideal for those wanting some peace and quiet and far reaching urban river views, away from the bustling city centre. The Penthouse has an amusing side table created by Dutch artist Tim de Vries, which jokingly signifies some things Amsterdam is known for.
