Hotel Review
Brooklands Hotel & Spa, Weybridge, Surrey
Car and spa rev up the action at this luxury hotel on the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit, which was Britain's first. Modern racing-themed design is combined with relaxing spa treatments, and views from the 12-seater outdoor hot tub of skid-pan action at Mercedes-Benz World next door. Bedrooms are a fusion of glossy art deco cabinets (celebrating the circuit's 1920s heyday), quirky car headlight-themed lampshades, spark plug-filled vases and huge floor to ceiling panoramic windows. The spa is busy, especially with day guests, but a sunlight therapy room is just the place to kick back on a deckchair and read a book in glorious temperatures of 30C degrees.
