With a host of facilities including three swimming pools and a large private sandy beach with watersports, this large particularly family-friendly resort is eternally popular. It's ideal if you want to relax at a resort with lots of facilities, rather than do lots of sightseeing. Set in the popular Jumeirah Beach Residence, over three buildings nestled in spacious landscaped grounds, there are a host of eateries and bar options, and a Roman-style spa and health club. There's lots of opportunities for games on-site, including tennis and squash courts, and volleyball. Many of the 500 comfortable guest rooms have balconies and sea views, plus all the mod cons.

The resort is by a long stretch of restaurants, bars and shops called The Walk, which is ideal for a stroll both day and night.

The hotel is in the Jumeirah Beach Residence development, beside the marina and a sandy private beach.
By plane: flights from London and Manchester to Dubai take 7 hours. The hotel is a six-minute drive from the airport. Free private parking on-site.
