WHAT WE LOVE...

This superb hotel and LA landmark was central to Hollywood's golden age when it opened in 1927, with guests like Charlie Chaplin, Shirley Temple and Clark Gable. It has appeared in numerous films and TV programmes, including The Fabulous Baker Boys, Internal Affairs, Beverly Hills Cop II, Catch Me If You Can and Curb Your Enthusiasm. In the heart of Hollywood, its characterful rooms look out onto the Hollywood hills and sign, and Walk of Fame. It has some outstanding bars and restaurants, and in recent years has attracted a young, partying crowd, with DJ sets from the likes of Thom Yorke of Radiohead at its iconic pool, scene of many photoshoots.

Food & Drink

The food, wine, cocktails and service at the Barish Restaurant are absolutely fantastic and faultless, but it's not cheap. The duck with quince and chestnut with a side dish of delicata squash with nduja, almond and lime mint at the Barish Restaurant is sensational, the best meal we have had for ages.
