The range of facilities is completely adequate, with a bar, lounge areas including a conservatory and quiet outdoor terrace, a snack bar area, small business centre and 24-hour gym. Although there's no on-site restaurant, there's a good-sized menu with dishes provided by a nearby one. The 224 guest rooms are decorated in relaxing neutral tones and have large, comfortable beds, flatscreen TVs, a desk area, a sandstone-style bathroom and a number have nice views of the New York skyline. Located in Midtown Manhattan, a host of sights and attractions are nearby.

We love that the hotel is right in the middle of the action with a host of popular neighbourhoods and sights a short distance away.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Times Square, between Hell's Kitchen and the Garment District.
By plane: flights to New York take 6 hours 50 mins from London and Edinburgh, and 7 hours 10 mins from Manchester. The hotel is a 30-minute taxi ride from JFK airport. Parking on-site costs $50 per day.
