Join the landscape architect on one of two colourful itineraries next spring, as you visit several gardens and flower fields
Springtime is a lovely time to visit Holland as its flower
fields and gardens burst into colour and during this five-day tour,
you'll have the opportunity to take in the sights, scents and
colours.
Accompanying you on this horticultural trip is landscape
architect Bunny Guinness. Bunny will deliver a talk and join you
for a very special four-course gala dinner with wine pairing. She
will also accompany you on a visit to the Tulip Experience in
Amsterdam - home to 4 million tulips in a whopping 700 varieties -
and the famous Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse. Wander through diverse
floral displays, featuring millions of bulbs planted in intricate
patterns and be sure to see the iconic Keukenhof windmill, as well
as its indoor pavilions.
Your highlight will be a full-day at the Dutch Flower Parade,
with grandstand tickets and lunch included. Known as 'Bloemencorso
Bollenstreek', it is Holland's largest spring event and the floats
are often made up of gorgeous spring flowers such as tulips,
daffodils and hyacinths, creating a wonderful aroma.
You can look forward to a four-night stay at the four-star Hotel
Indigo in The Hague, with breakfast included. Further points of
interest include visits to Paleis het Loo & Nationaal Park Hoge
Veluwe, and the Kroller Muller Museum and Garden.
