Enjoy the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation during this cruise to Japan, which takes in lush landscapes, ancient shrines and vibrant cities

Be enthralled by the wonders of Japan during this 11-night cruise from Tokyo. Japan is well known for its juxtapositions - where centuries-old temples collide with modern futuristic cities. Awaken your senses with the heady aromas of fragrant incense or delicious street food, where both bright city lights and glistening shrines dazzle. You'll have time to explore it all on this captivating voyage on board Celebrity Millennium.

From Shimizu, take in the spectacular sight of Mount Fuji - the highest mountain in Japan - and enjoy an overnight stay on board in Osaka, the gateway to Kyoto. Osaka is best known for its castle, originally built in the 1500s but lovingly restored, and surrounded by beautiful lawn gardens. In Kyoto, temples and shrines are plentiful.

Call at Kochi, often referred to as 'a gem on the Pacific Ocean'. Its 17th century castle is one of few in the country to have maintained its original wooden structure, and is consequently, Kochi's most visited site. There will also be time to explore the cities of Nagasaki and Kagoshima, before an overnight stay in Yokohama, the gateway to metropolis Tokyo.

During the cruise, you'll also visit Busan in South Korea. You'll find beautiful beaches, with colourful houses perched atop the hills. Being a bustling port city, the fish and seafood here is fresh, and the street food stands are bustling.

Celebrity Millennium will be your home-from-home and with a number of sea days, you'll get to know the ship and its facilities. Find new favourite dishes at its choice of dining venues, take time to relax and unwind in the adults-only solarium or redesigned spa, and make the most of the live entertainment and exciting activities throughout the day.

Alternatively, cruise Japan during cherry blossom season, or book this land tour of Japan to discover ancient traditions and cultural experiences.
