Escorted tour
Discover the magical scenery of Scotland
The wild and remote landscapes of Scotland have been inspiring
travellers for centuries and its panoramic views are almost as
legendary as the country's famous single malts.
On this exclusive four-day break, readers will fly to Edinburgh and
enjoy a guided tour of Scotland's elegant capital including its
iconic castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, once frequented by
Mary, Queen of Scots and now Her Majesty The Queen's official
residence in Scotland.
You'll be based in The Trossachs, Rob Roy MacGregor's stomping
ground near Loch Lomond, for three nights on a half-board basis,
with time to explore the largest freshwater lake in Britain. Your
trip also includes a chance to admire Britain's highest mountain,
Ben Nevis, cross the barren expanse of Rannoch Moor and drive
through Glencoe, a hauntingly beautiful valley sculpted by the last
ice age.
You'll see the scenic West Highland coastline on a spectacular
drive from Fort William to Oban, and stop in the pretty village of
Inveraray on the shores of Loch Fyne, the ancestral seat of the
Dukes of Argyll. Visits to historic Stirling Castle and Scone
Palace are also included in the trip, as is the opportunity to meet
some fabulous Highland cows during a trip to the Trossachs Woollen
Mill.
