Visit the Isle of Wight’s iconic sailing regatta on the world’s largest tall ship then voyage around Britain’s beautiful south coast including Devon, Cornwall and the Scilly Isles

Cowes Week is one of the great events in the British social calendar. Thousands of yachtsmen and women take to the waters in beautiful boats, but far more flock to the shoreside pubs, bars and restaurants for this great nautical celebration.

It's a spectacle not to be missed, and on this 11-day voyage, you'll sail the Solent onboard Tradewind Voyages' Golden Horizon. The world's largest square-rigged sailing vessel, it operates under sail and offers every creature comfort - from a wonderful restaurant and a choice of bars to a spa, gym, library and lecture theatre.

You will spend two days in Cowes and have plenty of time to take in the island, from Osborne House to the Needles. This 11-day sailing will also visit Devon, Cornwall and the Scilly Isles. In Falmouth, wander around the harbour's galleries, shops and boutiques, take your pick from Cornish pasties, cream teas or homemade fudge, or visit the Eden Project's giant geodesic Biomes, Tintagel or Land's End. The wild Isles of Scilly are home to wonderful flora and fauna and Caribbean-esque white-sand beaches.

In Plymouth, soak up the vibe of Britain's Ocean City by following the famous Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrims are believed to have left England onboard the Mayflower, and spend time in Poole,
with its wildlife-rich islands, waterfront restaurants and Blue Flag beaches, before setting sail back to Harwich.

Sailing on Golden Horizon

All 140 cabins are outside facing, so guests can enjoy breathtaking views. All on-board entertainment, Wi-Fi, gratuities, meals and watersports are included, and wine, beer and soft drinks are also included with meals served in the main restaurant.
