Watching huge icebergs float silently down a fjord into the open
sea will be just one of the unforgettable experiences on this
incredible eight-day trip to Greenland. With its dramatic Arctic
coastline of towering mountains, you'll be sure to create memories

favourite TV presenters, adventurer Ben Fogle.
Ben has become a regular on our screens since appearing on Castaway an unbelievable 20 years ago, turning up on Countryfile, hosting Crufts and making the series Year Of Adventures, among many others. Ben will share stories about his career, including his transatlantic row with James Cracknell, during up to three exclusive talks. He will also take part in a private Q&A session, as well as join the included shore excursions during your trip.
You will explore some of Greenland's most fascinating towns and get a taste of its culture during exclusive events. You'll see the magical Disko Bay and the town of Ilulissat, known as the 'city of icebergs' and meet Qeqertarsuaq locals over coffee and cake.

See icebergs up close
Ilulissat means 'icebergs' in Greenland's Kalaallisut language and that's exactly what you'll see in the country's third-largest city. Skyscraper-sized icebergs flow down from the UNESCO-protected Icefjord and you'll have the chance to hike south to explore the Icefjord on foot, pay for an optional boat trip to take you into the bay or hire a fixed-wing plane for an aerial view.

Day1Fly to CopenhagenCopenhagen, Denmark
You will fly to Copenhagen, one of Europe's coolest and most welcoming cities. On arrival, you'll have time to explore Denmark's beautiful capital at your leisure.
Day2KangerlussuaqKangerlussuaq Havn, Greenland
After a morning flight from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland, you will transfer to the port before arriving at the MV Ocean Atlantic by zodiac. While you enjoy dinner, you'll set sail through the 160-kilometre Kangerlussuaq fjord.
Day3SisimiutSisimiut (Holsteinsborg), Greenland
You'll arrive in the colourful, modern town of Sisimiut in the morning. At the foot of Nasaasaaq Mountain, it's the second largest townin Greenland with 5,400 inhabitants. You'll take a city tour with highlights including the historic colonial quarter, the museum and church. In the afternoon, you'll head north past the Sisimiut Isortuat Fjord, the Nordre Stromfjord settlements of Attu and Kierasaarsunk and the small town of Kangaatsiaq.
Day4Disko IslandQeqertarsuaq (Godhavn), Greenland
Today, you'll get a taste of life in Greenland when you meet some of Qeqertarsuaq's locals for 'kaffemik'. On the distinctive Disko Island, you'll have a chance to wander through the town before sampling some home-made cakes with tea or coffee accompanied by local music and dance with some of the town's residents. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to the breathtakingly beautiful Eqip Sermia Glacier. There, in what is sure to be an unforgettable experience, you'll observe the icebergs calving off the enormous icecap.
Day5IlulissatIlulissat (Jakobshavn), Greenland
Ilulissat means 'icebergs' in Greeland's Kalallisut language and that's exactly what you'll see in the country's third largest city. Skyscraper-sized icebergs flow down from the Unesco-protected Icefjord and linger in the Arctic waters of the city's bay. You'll have the chance to hike south to explore the Icefjord on foot.
Or you can choose to pay for an optional 2.5-hour boat trip to take you into the bay among the incredible icesculpted scenery. Of for themore adventurous, you can hire a fixed-wing plane for an aerial view of the glacier and the Icefjord.
In this remote settlement, 100 residents still make their living from traditional Inuit practices of hunting, trapping and fishing. You'll meet the locals going about their day.
Day7Arrive in KangerlussuaqKangerlussuaq Havn, Greenland
Today you'll disembark MV Ocean Atlantic in Kangerlussuaq before being transferred to the airport and flying back to Copenhagen.
Day8Return to the UKCopenhagen, Denmark
Today, you will leave Copenhagen for your flight home.
