This morning why not take the opportunity to join our optional excursion on board a private sailing boat to the Isola del Garda, the largest private island on the lake. It was an important ecclesiastical center of meditation until the Napoleonic suppression, and, after various changes of ownership, it came at the end of the 19th century to the duke Gaetano de Ferrari, who owed the villa and the park with exotic plants, terraces sloping down to the lake arranged as an Italian garden with floral bushes hedges. Built on preexisting structures, the villa is in neo-Gothic-Venetian style and has a very complex composition, resolved in special grandeur and extraordinary lexical unity. Enjoy an exclusive private visit of the island and the villa in the company of the owners. Cap off the morning with an aperitif inside the villa. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Standing on the top of a hill, enjoying amazing views over the vineyards, Verona and Lake Garda, it features a tiny abbey with a lovely cloister dating back to the 12th century. It is the most outstanding Romanesque architecture example of the whole Region. Cap-off the day with the visit of a family-run winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella. Besides developing sustainable production processes, the owners have also carried out an important architectural renovation: the new cellar, designed by a famous architect, exemplifies a synthesis between the surrounding nature and the hand of man. Enjoy a tasting of the excellent local wines, before heading back to your accommodation for an afternoon at leisure.
