This is an epic holiday which takes in three different countries - Iceland, Canada and the USA - by four modes of transport: plane, helicopter, train and a cruise ship like no other. It will also give you the chance to see the mesmerising Northern Lights, hear the thunderous roar of Niagara Falls from above and explore New York before sailing back to the UK in elegant luxury on the QM2.
This trip of a lifetime, which is exclusive to Good Housekeeping readers, starts in Reykjavik, Iceland, where you'll stay for three days and enjoy two brilliant excursions into the unspoiled wilderness.
You'll tour the famous 'Golden Circle' and visit Þingvellir National Park, where two continental plates meet, resulting in the spectacular volcanic landscape. You'll also enjoy soaking in the steaming pools of the Fontana Geothermal Baths and go in search of the Northern Lights† on a guided coach tour by night.
You will then fly to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls (widely considered the better side to view the falls from) and enjoy three nights at the four-star Sheraton Niagara Falls. Another once-in-a-lifetime experience awaits as you'll take a thrilling scenic helicopter ride over both the American and Horseshoe Falls looking out for rainbows made by the cascading water.
The Amtrak train will then carry you from Canada to Penn Station, New York City where you'll stay for two nights at the boutique Iberostar 70 Park Avenue, giving you plenty of time to explore the bright lights of Manhattan and go shopping on Fifth Avenue.
We've left the best part of this holiday till last as you'll then step aboard the luxurious Queen Mary 2 and sail out of New York past the Statue of Liberty - a moment you'll remember forever. During your seven-night transatlantic voyage on Cunard's iconic ship you'll enjoy the elegance of life on board a classic ocean liner. With so much included during your full-board crossing you can dine in style in one of the restaurants, dance in the largest ballroom at sea, and relax by one of the four stunning pools.
This promises to be a holiday like no other, so book now to secure your place on board and preferred cabin on the Queen Mary 2.
