Learning & craft
Create Christmas decorations with an expert in the beautiful Peak District
Get into the festive spirit early as you join a small group for a short break, in the company of local experts, as you craft your own Christmas.
During the three-night crafty holiday, you will make a Christmas candle and wax melts - perfect for your festive centrepieces - and a lovely Christmas wreath you can hang with pride.
Your craft sessions will take place in a dedicated workspace and you'll be joined by local artisans, who'll guide you every step of the way - so no experience is necessary.
The small craft session of no more than 15 guests means you will get the support and guidance you need from the experts, and you'll also get to know your fellow crafters during your stay.
You'll be staying in the picturesque Peak District at The Peveril Of The Peak country house hotel. The hotel boasts extensive grounds and a terrace with scenic countryside views. You'll be within walking distance of Dovedale, one of the area's most beautiful (and popular) spots, known for its stepping stones.
During your stay, all meals will be provided - from a cooked or continental breakfast, to a packed lunch during your craft sessions and a three-course evening meal. On your arrival afternoon, you'll also be treated to a cream tea as you relax in one of the lounges.
In between craft sessions, you'll have time to explore the local area. The Discovery Point offers a wide range of local area maps, route guides and easy-to-follow information for self-guided walks.
Or if you'd prefer, the village of Castleton, and towns of Buxton and Bakewell are a short drive away. You could also visit Chatsworth House.
