Rhône cruise with Anton and Erin
Anton du Beke and Erin Boag have been dancing together since 1997 and both appeared in the first 10 series of Strictly. Anton is still a professional on the show and is competing with EastEnders star Emma Barton this year.
Anton and Erin will join you in Avignon and Arles on this fantastic Emerald Waterways cruise along the Rhône river and give a ballroom performance exclusively for you on a wonderful afternoon in Avignon. Anton and Erin will also show you how it's done in an interactive lesson for you and your fellow guests, and take part in a private Q&A session.
Visit historic Avignon
Avignon is steeped in history, from its Gallic beginnings to becoming the Papal residence and its link to the French Revolution. You'll enjoy a walking tour of the city, which will include the famous Pont d'Avignon and Palais des Papes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Lyon is considered the gastronomic heart of France, and you'll have a chance to sample the Lyonnaise cuisine during your tour and experience the food of Provence in Avignon. You can enjoy a wine lecture and hike through vineyards in Tournon, and a cheese and olive tasting as you cruise from Chalon-sur-Saône to Beaune.
A former Phoenician trading port captured by the Romans, Arles is alive with ancient monuments, which you'll see on a tour showing how the city has evolved over the centuries.

The picturesque village of Tournon borders the gently meandering Rhône, dominated by a 16th-century castle that overlooks the village and a number of iconic landmarks, including a set of ancient watchtowers. Your guided tour of the village will showcase its intangible cultural heritage, granting every opportunity for you to immerse yourself in your surroundings. Alternatively, embark on an EmeraldACTIVE hike through some of the local vineyards. Later, a guided bike tour to Glun will showcase rural life in the French countryside.

Day6Cocktail Reception and Dance PerformanceAvignon, France
Avignon has a rich history, from Celtic beginnings to being the residence of the Pope and central to the French Revolution. Your included walking tour of Avignon will take you past the ornate beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Palais des Papes, as well as Pont d'Avignon, an ancient stone bridge crossing the Rhône.
Later, you'll attend a special cocktail reception hosted by Anton and Erin at the Espace Jeanne Laurent, followed by a dance performance by the ballroom stars, where there'll be an opportunity to get your picture taken with Anton and Erin. Return to your Star-Ship for a delightful Provençal dining experience, expertly prepared by Top Chef finalist, Fabien Morreale.
Day7Dance Masterclass and Q&AArles, France
Anton and Erin will hold an interactive dance masterclass on-board this morning. They'll sign postcards and host a Q+A session where you can ask them about their careers and time on Strictly Come Dancing.
In Arles today, the past is yours to discover. This city was once an important Phoenician trading port that was captured by the Romans, who peppered the city with iconic monuments. Your included tour of the city will showcase some of the city's UNESCO World Heritage-listed Roman and Romanesque monuments, which showcase how the city has evolved over the centuries. Visit the 2,000-year-old Arles Amphitheatre and follow in the footsteps of world-renowned artist, Vincent van Gogh. The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure, perhaps stopping at a local café or returning to your Star-Ship to relax on board.
