With their extraordinary landscapes, vast canyons, natural
archways and the mighty Colorado River, the Rocky Mountains boast
some of the world's most incredible scenery. Stretching from
Western Canada to New Mexico, the Rockies formed a natural barrier
to European settlers making their journey from east to west. It
wasn't until the mid-1800s that thousands braved the perilous
crossing to reach Utah, Nevada and the riches of California.
Your journey will be somewhat more luxurious as you take one of
the world's most iconic trains across the 3,000-mile-long mountain
range. Departing from Denver, on a brand-new route, you will travel
in style on the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer bound for Utah.

Canyonlands; Bryce Canyon; Zion; and Arches, not to mention the
spectacular Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona.
